Car loans · UAE
Planning to buy a car in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE? Explore vehicle finance with a clear picture of the purchase price, upfront contribution and ongoing costs.
Your ambitions. Our connections.A THOUGHTFUL START
The right conversation starts before you choose a monthly payment. New and used vehicles may be assessed differently, and the vehicle itself can affect finance availability. AMAFH helps you prepare a car loan enquiry around your purchase plans.
Availability, eligibility, approval, fees and terms are determined by the relevant provider.
BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Three areas to explore with the provider before making a decision.
Plan for the upfront contribution, vehicle registration, insurance and any finance processing costs. Keep these separate from the advertised monthly payment.
Check whether the lender accepts the vehicle’s age, model and seller. Used-car enquiries may require a valuation or additional vehicle checks.
Compare the term, total finance cost, early settlement terms and insurance requirements. Check how ownership and registration are handled during the agreement.
PREPARE YOUR ENQUIRY
Share an outline of your plans first. You do not need to send documents to start a conversation with AMAFH.
Enquire about this serviceVehicle eligibility and required documentation differ between lenders. An enquiry is not a finance offer or confirmation that a particular vehicle can be financed.
Car loans · A PRACTICAL GUIDE
Use these considerations to prepare a focused enquiry. Compare the provider’s current written terms for your circumstances.
Bring the purchase price, upfront contribution and running costs into the same plan. Insurance, registration, servicing and fuel continue alongside finance repayments. If a dealer quotation includes optional accessories or packages, ask which items are included in the finance amount. Knowing that breakdown makes your enquiry more useful than comparing instalments in isolation.
For a new vehicle, start with the dealer’s quotation and delivery expectations. For a used vehicle, discuss age, mileage, ownership records, condition and any valuation needed by the lender. Check the seller’s process separately from the finance application. Vehicle eligibility and personal eligibility are different assessments, and both can affect whether an offer is available.
Before committing to a purchase, confirm the provider’s conditions, vehicle documentation and payment process. Ask how registration, insurance and any finance interest in the vehicle are handled. Keep the purchase and loan paperwork accessible. For later resale or early settlement, contact the lender about its release and settlement requirements rather than assuming the arrangement ends automatically.
| Area to review | A useful question |
|---|---|
| Vehicle price | Does the quotation clearly separate the car price, extras and other purchase costs? |
| Upfront amount | What contribution is required and when must it be available? |
| Vehicle acceptance | Are there restrictions on age, seller type, valuation or the vehicle model? |
| Exit arrangements | What are the settlement and release steps if I sell or replace the vehicle? |
A LITTLE MORE CLARITY
Still have something in mind? Speak to our Dubai team.
Ask our teamYes. Tell us the vehicle’s age, model, price and seller type. The lender decides whether it accepts the vehicle and what valuation or documentation it needs.
You can start with an estimated budget. A specific quotation and vehicle details will usually be needed as the provider moves towards a formal application.
Vehicle insurance and vehicle finance are separate arrangements, although a lender may set insurance requirements. Ask which costs are included in any quotation.
No. This service is for car finance enquiries. The vehicle purchase is with the seller, and finance approval and terms are with the lender.
Ask the lender which parts of the dealer quotation it accepts. Optional accessories, service packages and other costs may be treated differently. Check the financed amount and the total repayment schedule before proceeding.
Contact the lender for its settlement and release procedure before arranging the sale. Outstanding finance, documents and applicable charges need to be addressed through the lender’s process.

A CLOSER LOOK
Look at vehicle finance as part of a complete purchase plan. The car price, your upfront contribution, the repayment and ownership costs need to be considered together.
A new or used vehicle can raise different provider questions. Begin with the vehicle you are considering and ask which purchase information is needed at the appropriate stage. Keep the seller’s quotation distinct from the finance proposal. If the lender requires valuation or other supporting information, ask how that step works before assuming the purchase details alone are enough to complete the application.
The instalment is one part of owning a car. Consider your upfront contribution, any applicable finance fees and the separate costs of registration, insurance and ongoing use. Ask for the total repayments and how the term affects them. A useful enquiry keeps these figures distinct so you can see which costs belong to the purchase, which to financing and which will continue after you take the vehicle.
Ask the provider to explain the stages between an enquiry, assessment, a formal offer and the vehicle handover. The seller’s timing and the lender’s process are not automatically the same. Also ask about payment dates, early settlement and any conditions connected to the vehicle during the term. Clarifying these points helps you plan without treating an enquiry as confirmation that the car can be delivered immediately.
YOUR NEXT STEP, CONSIDERED
Use these three review points to organise a car-loan enquiry in the UAE. They keep the vehicle information, repayment questions and insurance discussion in their proper places.
Start a focused conversationNote whether the car is new or used, the proposed purchase price and the seller information you have. Ask the lender which details it requires and when they should be supplied. An introductory message can remain a summary rather than a submission of the vehicle or identity documents.
Request an explanation of the rate calculation, finance charges, term and total repayments. If you expect to settle before the end, ask about those conditions in advance. Keep a purchase quotation and a finance offer separate so that a dealer’s price is not mistaken for the cost of borrowing.
The insurance arrangement should reflect the vehicle and its use. Ask about the cover, repair conditions, excess and claim process separately from the finance repayment. Even when the two discussions support the same purchase, the insurer’s policy and lender’s agreement have different responsibilities and terms.
